Limited Capacity seats available

This session will be an in-person networking session and the following have been identified by health coordinators as important topics:

1) We will provide a space for review and deeper discussion around health and nutrition policies and procedures. Paricipants should bring the ones for their program that they'd like to look at and get support on.

 2) Bring scenarios or situations that you'd like to discuss and work through: for example:

  • how to provide services to children with an acute medical need such as a child who has surgery, breaks a bone, etc- when can they return to class, what kind of documentation needs to be in place, who is responsible for what, etc. (what are the procedures that need to be in place)

3) Participants should bring their favorite wellness activities to share with the group. We will weave these in throughout the day. For example a favorite breathing activity, movement moment, favorite song, etc.

4)Additional topics that people had an interest in seeing how other programs are handling.

  • Final Rule Mitigation Policy and Procedure- bring yours
  • Building and Maintaining a robust HSAC- connecting with community partners, how can it support your work,
  • Going Paperless- who is doing it, how was it implemented, what are the upsides and challenges
  • Federal review including the FA2- has anyone had theirs? How did you prepare? Etc
  • Lead- does someone have a contact person at the state?
